What Is In You Life

How many of you are living your life the same at home that you do when you are with your Christian friends, at church, and out in public? Most of us are but there are some that aren’t.

Some people will say what they do in their home is their own business. That is true to a point. Would you want your Christian friends to come in your home while you are watching some of your favorite TV shows? Would you want your friends to hear you speak when something goes wrong?  Would you want them to see the books and magazines you have in your home? The most important guest in
your home should be Jesus Christ. Would you be able to say you would want Him to visit you with everything you do and with everything you have in your home?

He already knows all that you watch on television, all the words you say, and all the books and magazines you have in your home. Would He approve of all that you do? If He wouldn’t approve, isn't it time to change your ways and actions?

Psalm 101:2-3; “I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. v. 3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me”.

Are you able to walk through your home and be sure God will be proud of what you doing, saying, with the books and magazines you have, and what you are watching on television? Are you behaving wisely in all your ways? Are you walking in a perfect way? Are you asking God to come into your home and dwell with you? It is an awesome thing to want the Lord to come into your home to dwell with you always.

Do you want to do the things that will bring glory to God and God only? Are you getting rid of all the undesirable things in your home and life? What are you doing to rid your life of all the undesirable things? This could mean you need to rid yourself of some of your friends if they are ungodly and they don’t bring glory to God. Some people want to eye the immorality, wickedness, brutality, violence, pornography, and anything that will satisfy their lust and desire for distorted pleasure. A godly person wants nothing to do with things like this. If your friends want these things, are you willing to rid yourself of them? People committed to God will not allow these things in their homes and life.

The one person I want in my home is God. God is the one that matters the most in my life. I want to know that if anyone was to come to my home they would not see anything that would be undesirable to God or to them. Is this how you feel?

Thank you for dropping by, I hope you have enjoyed our visit. May you always know the love, joy, and peace of the Lord!

"OUCH!" That is a biggie! What a great question. Am I living at home the same as I do in front of 'church' people? I believe I am and I pray that if there is anything God sees in my home or in me that is not totally transparent He will show it to me. There is nothing more important to me that being the same person 24/7; 365...NO MATTER who is around...because God is ALWAYS around! Thank you for this awesome reminder to check myself! Love you!!!

I want to be a person of integrity. I want to be the same person with others or when it is just me and God. God is always there and knows my thoughts. No hiding from Him!
