John 3:16; "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
The other night I dreamed of Jesus, instead of it being so long ago it was in our time, today. I had never thought about this before but it got me to wondering, would it be the same as it was back then. Yes, I think it would be. There are prophecies that had to be fulfilled. There are people in this time that doesn't believe in Jesus, I have never been able to understand this as everywhere you look you can see the Lord. Everything the Lord created is in perfect harmony. Man has destroyed some of these things just as they did 2000 years ago. I would hate to think people would spit on Him, beat Him, and put a crown of thorns on His head today. People mocked Him and when He was on the cross they said if He was the Son of God to save himself. But He knew this was the only way, he suffered humiliation and a beating that tore His flesh.
Genesis 3:15; "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." This verse has the first absolute promise of God's plan for the redemption of the world. It tells us there will be success for humankind and God over Satan and evil. In this verse it tells there will be a spiritual battle between the woman's seed (Jesus Christ) and the seed of the serpent (Satan and his followers). It says that Jesus would be born of a woman. He would be bruised through His crucifixion. Jesus rose from the dead and completely destroy Satan, sin, and death for the deliverance (salvation) of the human nation. From this verse we know God had a plan, it didn't matter if it was a couple of thousand years ago or in our time.
Romans 16:19; "For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil." Believers should do everything within their means to guard their children from being exposed to deliberately misleading of sin and perverseness of this generation. Satan seems to want our children to know everything about evil and his ways. Repeated exposure to Satan's ways will lead many from the path of faith and obedience.
Matthew 16:21; "From that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples, how that He must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day." Jesus knew the only way for people to have salvation was through the blood of someone that had never sinned. He was the one to take all of our sins, inequities, and illnesses so He was crucified for all of us not just some. He knew there would be some that would never believe in Him but He was willing to die a horrible and painful death for the ones that does believe in Him.
I have thought about the way He was crucified and I thought maybe He wouldn't be crucified. But the Bible tells us that it is through the blood that we are able to have salvation. I John 1:7; "But if we walk in the light, as He is the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." So, it doesn't really matter in what time frame He was crucified, He would be crucified and His blood would be what saves us.
God would have made a way for Jesus to be crucified. I have thought the world today would be to civilized to have someone crucified but if that is the way God wanted it done that is the way it would be done. My dream was only a dream and I am so glad that it was.
Blessings to you.

My Daughter
I want to pay tribute to my daughter, Debi. She is the best daughter in the world. She is compassionate, caring, understanding, helpful, and I could not ask for a better daughter.
She has been this way ever since she was a really young girl. When she was a little girl she always wanted to be helpful in any way she could be. She liked to cook and she was a really good one.
What does daughter mean to me?
D is for Debi
A is for Always there
U is for Unique
G is for Godly
H is for Helpful
T is for Truthful
E is for Excellence
R is for Righteousness
God blessed us with a daughter, Debi and she is always there. She is so unique, she is exceptional and rare. She is a godly woman, she shows respect for God and lives accordingly. She is very helpful, sometimes you don't have to ask, she just does it. She is a truthful woman. She knows God doesn't like lies so she tells the truth. She is an excellent daughter. She is pure and exceptional. She is righteous, a virtuous woman, and she is respectable.
Debi is a 'Children's Pastor.' And she is an awesome pastor. Some people don't think you have to work hard being a children's pastor but I have seen her work a few times getting her message ready for a Sunday morning and she works very hard and diligently. She thinks it has to be perfect and believe me, that is exactly what it is. She believes her message should be as good as the senior pastor's message.
She homeschooled her children and was great at that also. She helped them every day to be able to teach them what was expected of her.
She is a whiz at the computer and every time we need help (it is usually her Dad that messes everything up) but she comes out to see what is wrong. She has been known to work on the computer all day long to get it straightened up so he can use his computer. I thank you for this, Debi.
I haven't felt good the last couple of days and she has called me to see how I am doing. She didn't have to do this but being the woman she is she called not just once but probably four or five times. She took time out of her busy schedule to see how I was doing. I appreciate this very much, Debi.
Debi, you are my special daughter and you always will be. I love you very much and I thank God for you, you a real blessing.

On Every Day
Almost, or should I say some make New Year Resolutions. That is a fun thing to do as it seems to help some carry out the resolutions they make. For some it is to diet, to do better at work, not to go places all the time, go see Mom and Dad (grandparents) and then there are the ones that involve God. These are the really important ones.
I don't make New Year Resolutions anymore. When I did make them I just couldn't seem to keep them and it became such a hassle. For some it isn't that way and I am glad it isn't.
In church Sunday morning our pastor had some very good thoughts although they were not New Years Resolutions. They are something we should do every single day without having to try to remember them.
On every day, remember His message concerning sin.
We were all born into the world with an impulse towards sin and evil. We are all guilty before God because of our own personal sins. Sin has no place in heaven so sin means, unless the sinner repents he will not see heaven. Romans 6:23; "For the wages of sin is death;..."
Jesus is the one that come to save us from sin. John 3:16; "For God so love the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." It is through the blood of Jesus Christ that we are forgiven for our sins. Colossians 1:14; " In whom we have redemption through His blood, even for the forgiveness of sins:"
On every day, remember His message concerning love to others.
Matthew 5:44; "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." It is hard to love our enemies, the ones that hate us or use us, and especially the ones the persecute you. We can do it because we have the love of God in us and He gives us our strength. From experience I can tell you that praying for an enemy is a hard thing to do but after the first, the second time prayer for them is easier. It can also make a person feel so much better, we can really feel the warm of the Lord in us. Praise Him.
On every day, remember His message concerning prayer.
Proverbs 15:8; "...but the prayer of the upright is His delight." God accepts the upright and those who strive to follow Him. We need to pray at all times. Colossians 4:2; "Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving." Prayer is essential to our fellowship with the Lord. When you pray, have you ever felt the warmth of the Lord? I have and it is a wonderful feeling.
On every day, remember His message concerning stewards.
We are to be good stewards of what God has given to us. Luke 12:42; "And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?" He can be faithful and obedient and always watching. Be spiritually ready for the Lord's return, no one knows when that will be so we need to always be ready and watchful. If we get careless and think God will delay His coming, we could depart from faithfulness.
On every day, remember His message concerning witnessing,
As Christians we should desire to witness for Christ. We owe it to the Lord and to ourselves. We need to remember what life is all about. Isaiah 43:12; "I have declared, and have saved, and I have shown, when there was no strange god among you: therefore you are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God." God wants us to witness for Him and by not witnessing we are disobeying Him. Of course if is our choice what we do. I am going to be obedient to God and I will witness for Him. What are you going to do?
On every day, remember His message concerning heaven.
Luke 85:11; "Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven." This is for the believers who truly attempt to live a godly life and righteous life. Our fulfilling His purpose in our lives is what God thinks as good.
The saved and righteous will be the ones going to heaven. We will be with the Lord, there is nothing else that we could want. There are many benefits in after for the righteous and saved.

God Is Our Help
Psalm 46:1; "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
This verse is a really special verse. It tells us what God is to us and what He does in time of our need. He never leaves us. When we feel that He has left us it isn't Him but us. The Word tells us He will never leave nor forsake us. Hebrews 13:5; "...I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." We can always rely on what God's Word says to us.
God doesn't help us just in some things but all things. Psalm 54:4; "Behold, God is mine helper..." If He is our helper then that means in everything as He didn't say 'something's,' 'sometime' or 'maybe' so we can always count on Him. Never be afraid to ask the Lord for help, He wants us to ask Him for help. He already knows we need help so we need not be afraid to ask Him. If we are afraid or in need of anything we need to talk to the Lord about it. We can talk to Him about our fears, emotions, and hurts as this is what He wants us to do. By doing this it reveals our trust in Him. We will be comforted just by knowing we have someone to go to and knowing He will guide us. Psalm 48:14 tells us this very thing; "For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death." What more can we ask for?
Have you ever thought that what you want or need is to frivolous to talk to the Lord about? Well, if you might think that, why not talk to the Lord about it? It will be worth your time to go to the Lord in prayer and talk to Him. If God is the God of our life then who better to go to than the Lord.
Who is it that gives us our strength? Psalm 18:1; "I will love thee, O Lord, my strength." When we have troubles we know we may call on the Lord and He will give us the strength we need to get through them. God has given us an answer for every single thing we may need. If we are in need, if we need strength, if we are sick, if we are lonely and need to talk to someone, He is there. Remember God will never leave us, He is right there when we need Him.
Those of us who desire more of God and yearn for His presence may experience a delay in this but the believer will continue longing for God and to seek after Him. Blessings are awaiting for those who hunger and long after His righteousness, we should never settle for less than His full blessings, Matthew 5:6; "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." Are you thirsty and hunger for the righteousness of God? If you are and you are in all honestly seeking for the righteousness of God then be prepared for the blessings He has for you. Get excited about it, praise Him above all for He is worthy to be praised.
We who love the Lord should be going around singing praises to Him. With His love in us we should show our love to everyone we meet. We should go around and shout to the world the glory of our Lord. Tell everyone what He does for us and how we feel when the Lord blesses us above all blessings. There is no better feeling than knowing the Lord is with us continually and someday we will be at home in heaven with Him. Praise Him, Praise Him.
Thanks for stopping by and blessings to all.

Healings 2
Thank you for stopping by again to finish ready about all of the Healings God has done in our family. I can not say enough how great He is. Yes, these tribulations have brought us much closer to God and I praise Him and give Him all the glory for if it wasn't for Him the healings would not have happened.
The next thing was my grandson, Brian. He was seven days old and was very sick so Debi and Jim took him to the doctor. The doctor diagnosed him with congestive heart failure and wanted them to have an ambulance take him to KU Hospital but Jim said he could get there faster. They brought the kids to our house and asked us to keep them and pray. We did pray and we prayed some more just as Debi and Jim did on their way to the hospital.
When they got Brian to the hospital they asked why they had brought him in. They told them what the doctor said and they said nothing was wrong with his heart. He ended up with pneumonia and some complications but after nine days he was released to go home. Thank you Lord, again.
In 1996 Dave was diagnosed with cancer. Thank the Lord we had our personal relationship with Him. The church we were going to anointed him, laid hands on him, and prayed. He was healed from that cancer. Glory and honor is given to the Lord.
Even though the cancer was healed a different type of cancer has emerged. He has had several surgeries, radiation, and hormone treatment. Right now the cancer is gone but he still has to go in for checkups every three to four months. Praise the Lord. I thank all of the people and churches that have prayed for him. I know God has heard all of our prayers and answered them.
My story doesn't end there. There is my great-granddaughter, Gracie. Gracie was born a healthy 7 pounds and 8 ounces. She continued to grow and became a plump baby being 12 pounds by 4 months. But then her weight gain slowed down, then stopped, she just started losing weight. When she was 9 months old she had lost down to 9 pounds. They spent every day at the hospital for many weeks, they ran every possible test. It was found out that her thyroid had completely quit working. They put her on medication but they thought they had caught the problem too late and she could possibly have brain damage. But the tests came back normal. They thought she would have to take the medication for life with no chance of going off of it. Well, God was in control again. The doctor walked in for one of checkups and said take her off the medicine and bring her back in six weeks. She has never been on the medicine since.

Only nine months after being off medications and six months after being released from Children's Hospital, Jenifer and Jeremy noticed her finger growing crooked. They thought Gracie might have broken her finger and they hadn't known about it. They headed for the doctor again. It was found out there was a tumor on the finger and they wanted it remove immediately. During her surgery, many more tumors were found. They did more testing she was found to have more than fifty tumors on her body. She has had two surgeries to remove one tumor from her right hand and five from her left hand and one large tumor from her back. After all of this, Gracie doesn't complain. She has never asked why, she just trust god. Jenifer said that one day Gracie told them that in Heaven her body would be perfect. At Gracie's very young age she knows God has a plan for her life. Isaiah 53:5: "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was up upon Him; and with his stripes we are healed." This verse tells it all. All of us were healed and I was forgiven for my sins, my sin was not giving the Lord credit for what he did. But I am forgiven. What a great and wonderful God we have. We are so fortunate to know Him and have a wonderful relationship with Him. I can not give Him enough praises and glorify Him enough for what He has done in the lives of all of our family. He just keeps sending us blessings after blessing. Thank you, Lord and I love You so very much.
My Mother brought me up knowing God was very important. She told me about prayer and the importance of praying. We were to love Jesus and we weren't supposed to be afraid of praying to Him. She told me there wasn't anything that we couldn't ask of the Lord but we would not always get what we prayed for. She also told me how much Jesus loved me. As a teenager I went to church, I loved it but I just didn't have the relationship with Him that is so very important.
God has watched over my family for many years and taken care of us. I am so glad He never gave up on us. Thank you Lord. Through these trials and tribulations I grew closer to God, He always knows best.
That is the end of my story. I hope you have enjoy reading about the many healings He has done in this family. He has never let us down. He continues to help us in our everyday life and He protects us. How great he is, Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
