A Bad Week

I am sorry I didn't have a post last Friday. It seems everything has gone wrong the past week. Even though nothing has gone right Dave and I know the Lord has been right by our sides to help us and to give us strength.

Isaiah 26:4; "Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength": It is because we believe in the Lord that we have His strength. For without Him we can do nothing.

Dave has been battling cancer off and on for many years. Every four months he has to have his checkup and tests. His last visit went really well we thought, one test came out good but then we found out another one of the tests came back suspicious so he is scheduled for a biopsy tomorrow. We are praying the biopsy will go well and he will get to come home tomorrow after he recovers from the anesthesia. There was one time when he has had a biopsy that he wasn't able to come home so we are praying this will be like the other times and he will be able to come home.

John 14:27; "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid". Jesus has given us peace of mind and heart, I thank Him for this. How could we make it without it!

There may be a few days that I won't have a post but hopefully I will start again really soon.

May you always know the love, joy, and peace of the Lord!

Deane,

May God give the peace and strength through all of this.

You have been such a source of encouragment to me, it is so obvious that you have such a lovely and beautiful heart for God that my heart hurts for you as you walk through this. My prayers will be with you.

Blessing to you and your family Deane.

I have been praying nonstop for him. Praise God that He is always there and never leaves us!

I'm heartened by the fact that you know God has never left your sides Deane, and pray that His comfort and healing is felt in abundance throughout this ordeal.

You're both in my prayers.

Have a Blessed Day!
